How to make a Brune Choco Cookie
Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Gently flatten each cookie slightly with the back of the spoon or your fingers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
